Black Ops 7 Season 3 Zombies: Ashwood, Zombie Battle, Totenreich & More
Season 3 is packed with Zombies content — a new Survival map in Ashwood, Directed Mode finally landing for Paradox Junction, a brand new competitive mode in Zombie Battle, and a new round-based map, Totenreich, arriving at mid-season. Here's everything.
Ashwood Survival Map (Launch)
Ashwood drops players into a Civil War-era town dragged into Hell, originally the central grounds of the Ashes of the Damned round-based map, now redesigned for Survival.
You start in Rabbit Alley with one objective: clear the Power Pump. Completing that first step gives you access to the Pack-a-Punch Machine, Der Wunderfizz, the Mystery Box, and the rest of the map's resources. There's a twist though — Fog Zombies patrol the ground floor and you'll need to deal with them to safely reach the Pack-a-Punch beneath the town.
Ashwood Survival Rewards:
- "Klaus Der Toten" Animated Emblem + 1,000 XP — complete Round 10
- "Abomination Carcass" Weapon Charm + 2,500 XP — complete Round 25
- "Hidden Power" GobbleGum + 5,000 XP — complete Round 50
Cursed Mode: Ashwood
The Ashwood Survival map also supports Cursed Mode. Apply earned Relics to increase difficulty for better rewards at each tier:
- Round 25 with Tier 1 Relics: "Time Out" GobbleGum + 10,000 XP
- Round 50 with Tier 2 Relics: "Perkaholic" GobbleGum + 20,000 XP
- Round 75 with Tier 3 Relics: "Mannequin Turret" Weapon Charm + 30,000 XP
Directed Mode: Paradox Junction (Launch)
Directed Mode arrives for Paradox Junction, offering on-screen quest steps and a max round cap of 15 while taking on the Main Quest. The Warden has trapped the crew in a familiar place with a hellish twist, and you'll need the Blundergat Wonder Weapon — a quadruple-barreled death dealer — to navigate it. The Blundergat can be further upgraded to the Sundergat.
Directed Mode Completion Rewards:
- "Timeshatter" Blundergat Wonder Weapon Blueprint
- "Paradox Junction Directed Mode Completion" Calling Card
- 5,000 XP
An official Tac Map is also available for Paradox Junction showing all major POIs, Pack-a-Punch, Wall Buys, Ammo, Perks, Traps, and more.
Starting Room Mode: Paradox Junction
Paradox Junction joins the Starting Room Mode in Season 3. Fight through the locked starting area with only the available resources. The following are accessible in Paradox Junction's starting room: Mystery Box, Wallbuy (Jäger 45), Ammo Cache, Quick Revive, Rampage Inducer, Arsenal, GobbleGum Machine, Time Travel (after Special Rounds), Random Perk Machine (Past Nuketown), and Loot Cyst.
Rewards:
- Round 10: GobbleGum + 1,000 XP
- Round 25: Calling Card + 2,500 XP
- Round 50: Calling Card + 5,000 XP
Zombie Battle (Launch) — New Competitive Mode
2–4 Players, Free-for-All
Zombie Battle is a brand-new competitive mode where up to four players share the same space while each fighting off their own separate zombie hordes. The last player standing wins.
Key rules:
- Players cannot damage each other or affect opponents with Equipment, Scorestreaks, or Field Upgrades
- Door Buys, Exfil, and GobbleGums are restricted
- Available on Paradox Junction, Astra Malorum, and Ashes of the Damned
- Want to play against friends? Party up and disable Squad Fill
Zombie Battle Rewards:
- Round 5+: 1 Whimsical GobbleGum
- Round 10+: Chance for 2 Whimsicals
- Round 15+: 2 Whimsicals guaranteed
Mid-Season: Totenreich (New Round-Based Map)
"Journey to the cold place."
Totenreich is the new round-based Zombies map arriving in Season 3 Reloaded — a remote Norwegian fishing town frozen in time after Group 935 experiments warped the entire island into the Dark Aether. Full details on Easter Eggs, Wonder Weapons, and the Main Quest will be revealed in the Season 3 Reloaded blog.
New Field Upgrade: Wild Fire (Mid-Season)
"Imbue yourself with fire, increasing your speed and burning all enemies that get too close."
Wild Fire emits a gout of flame spreading from the user, burning zombies in the blast radius instantly and over time, slowing enemies to varying degrees while granting the user increased movement speed. A full Augment list will be revealed in the Season 3 Reloaded blog.
Classic Weapon: 1911 Pistol (In-Season — Weekly Challenge)
The iconic 1911 is back in Zombies as a Weekly Challenge unlock. Pack-a-Punch it to unlock its true potential — and yes, the upgraded version fires explosive rockets.
Ultra-Rarity Legacy Weapon (Mid-Season)
Starting mid-season, the first Legacy Weapon will be added to Mystery Boxes across the Dark Aether as an Ultra Rarity item with stats rivalling a Wonder Weapon. These are rare Mystery Box drops — the only other way to obtain Ultra Rarity weapons is through Cursed Mode. More Legacy Weapons will be added in future seasons.
New Zombies Scorestreak: Ion Core (Launch)
Cost: 1,500 Salvage
The same radioactive area-denial device coming to Multiplayer is also available in Zombies. Radiation pulses pass through walls, expanding in radius over time before resetting. Deploy it to lock down chokepoints and high-traffic corridors.
Season 3 Zombies launches April 2 at 9AM PT. Whether you're grinding Survival in Ashwood, racing others in Zombie Battle, or preparing for Totenreich mid-season, there's more Zombies content this season than any before it.
