Treyarch has announced a major change to how Ranked Play seasons end in Black Ops 7 and Warzone — introducing the Ranked Series, a one-week competitive ladder that replaces the traditional season wind-down.
What's Changing
Season 02 Ranked Play ends earlier than you might expect. SR will be frozen on March 25th at 9 PM PT, locking in your final Season 02 rank. The following day, Top 250 rewards are processed and a brand-new competitive format takes over for the final week: the Season 02 Ranked Series.
How the Ranked Series Works
All eligible players are automatically enrolled into Competitive Ladders grouped by rank:
- Gold through Iridescent ladders — 50 players each, matched only against players who finished Season 02 in that exact rank tier.
- Top 250 ladder — All Season 02 Top 250 competitors on a single ladder.
From March 26th to March 31st, players race up their ladder to earn exclusive end-of-season rewards. After the Ranked Series concludes, Ranked Play goes offline across both modes until Season 03 launches.

In the Multiplayer Ranked Series:
- Win → +31 Ladder Points
- Loss → −21 Ladder Points
