Warzone Meta Update — March 2026 Top Weapons & Tier List

Warzone Meta Snapshot — March 14, 2026

Currently, the Warzone landscape is defined by a deep pool of viable assault rifles and a pair of LMGs that punch well above their weight class. Our latest data pull shows 5 weapons in the Meta tier and 31 in Very Good, meaning there's more viable variety right now than in most previous metas. Here's exactly where things stand.

The Only Meta-Tier AR: Peacekeeper Mk1

The Peacekeeper Mk1 is the sole assault rifle sitting in our Meta tier right now. It kills in 276ms at close range — not the fastest raw TTK among ARs, but its overall profile across ranges, recoil consistency, and handling make it the most complete option in the class.

Recommended Long Range Build:

  • Optic: Fang HoverPoint Elo
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: 25" EAM Heavy Barrel
  • Magazine: Barrage Extended Mag
  • Stock: MFS Counterforce-C1 Stock

The 25" EAM Heavy Barrel combined with the Monolithic Suppressor extends its effective damage range significantly, while the Counterforce-C1 Stock tightens recoil during sustained fire. If you want a single AR to build around, this is the safest pick in the current meta.

Very Good Tier — The ARs Worth Running

Below Meta tier, there's a stacked group of Very Good assault rifles. Several of them trade blows with the Peacekeeper in specific scenarios.

Fastest TTK: AK-27 & Maddox RFB (261ms)

The AK-27 and Maddox RFB share the fastest close-range TTK in this snapshot at 261ms — 15ms faster than the Peacekeeper Mk1. That raw speed comes with trade-offs in handling or range consistency that keep them in Very Good rather than Meta, but in close-to-mid engagements they can outgun virtually anything.

AK-27 Long Range Build:

  • Fang HoverPoint Elo | Monolithic Suppressor | 17.6" Vandal Heavy Barrel | Saber Pack Heavy Drum | Pugil Heavy Stock

Maddox RFB Long Range Build:

  • Fang HoverPoint Elo | Monolithic Suppressor | 19" Virtuous-Op Barrel | Billing Extended Mag | Furrow Control Stock

The Maddox's 19" Virtuous-Op Barrel gives it more range extension than the AK-27's setup, which may make it the better pick if you're holding longer sightlines.

Mid-Pack Contenders: EGRT-17 & DS20 Mirage

The EGRT-17 posts a 296ms close-range TTK, and the DS20 Mirage comes in at 297ms — effectively identical in practice. Both run the Fang HoverPoint Elo and Monolithic Suppressor core, diverging in barrel and attachment choices.

EGRT-17 Long Range Build:

  • Fang HoverPoint Elo | Monolithic Suppressor | 16.5" Bowen Resistor Barrel | Fuel Cell-X3 Mag | Frigate Control Stock

DS20 Mirage Long Range Build:

  • Fang HoverPoint Elo | Monolithic Suppressor | 17.1" Abdicator Barrel | Griffon Reserve Extended | AI-C Control Grip

The DS20 Mirage opts for a rear grip over a stock, which tends to favor snappier ADS transitions. The EGRT-17's stock-based build leans more toward sustained accuracy. Both are strong — choose based on playstyle.

Reliable but Slower: AMES 85, M15 MOD 0, X9 Maverick

The AMES 85 kills in 320ms, the M15 MOD 0 in 312ms, and the X9 Maverick in 376ms. These sit at the slower end of the Very Good tier.

The AMES 85 is the only AR in this group running a Compensator instead of the Monolithic Suppressor, pairing it with the Gain-Twist Barrel and Vertical Foregrip for a recoil-focused build:

  • Willis 3x | Compensator | Gain-Twist Barrel | Vertical Foregrip | Extended Mag III

This makes the AMES 85 arguably the easiest AR to control at range, even if it gives up some TTK speed to get there.

The M15 MOD 0 sticks with the standard Monolithic + heavy barrel template (16" Reticulated Barrel, Bowen Bulwark Mag, Bowen Linchpin Stock) and sits comfortably between the AMES 85 and the faster options.

The X9 Maverick is the outlier. Its 376ms TTK is the slowest in this group by a wide margin, but its unique build — featuring the Pillory Grip and 4.73 Caseless Overpressured fire mod — suggests it brings utility or range damage that raw close-range TTK doesn't capture. It's a niche pick rather than a go-to.

LMGs Making Noise

Two LMGs have pushed into Very Good territory alongside the ARs.

The Mk. 78 matches the Peacekeeper Mk1's 276ms close-range TTK and runs an almost identical barrel (25" EAM Heavy Barrel). Its build adds the Bowen Sentry Foregrip for recoil stability and the Shock Shield Stock. For players who can tolerate the slower mobility of an LMG, it effectively offers Meta-tier TTK without holding a Meta-tier AR.

The Sokol 545 is slower at 338ms but incorporates a Buffer Spring fire mod alongside the 18.2" Parlous Heavy Barrel for a build that likely prioritizes fire rate consistency over raw damage. It's a solid support weapon for players who prefer sustained suppression.

Meta Takeaways

  • 5 Meta-tier weapons and 31 Very Good means weapon diversity is high right now. There's no single oppressive pick.
  • The Peacekeeper Mk1 is the top-tier AR, but the AK-27 and Maddox RFB actually beat it in raw close-range TTK (261ms vs. 276ms).
  • The Mk. 78 LMG quietly matches the Peacekeeper's TTK and is worth considering if mobility isn't your priority.
  • Nearly every top build runs the Fang HoverPoint Elo and Monolithic Suppressor — these two attachments are the backbone of the current long-range meta.
  • The AMES 85 is the strongest option for players who prioritize recoil control, sacrificing some TTK for a noticeably easier beam.
