The Velox 5.7 hits a 300ms time-to-kill at close range with an 800 RPM fire rate, making it one of the fastest-killing pistols you can run in Warzone. Here are four builds covering every use case — from akimbo rushing to long-range secondary duty.

Velox 5.7 Core Stats
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Fire Rate | 800 RPM |
| ADS Speed | 170ms |
| Bullet Velocity | 380 m/s |
| Magazine Size | 15 rounds |
| Close TTK (150 HP) | 300ms |
| Long TTK (150 HP) | 525ms |
| Tier | Very Good |
The 170ms ADS is extremely fast, and the 300ms close-range TTK competes with many primary weapons. The tradeoffs are a 380 m/s bullet velocity that limits effectiveness past mid-range and a 15-round default magazine that runs dry quickly, especially in squad modes.
Damage Profile Breakdown
| Range | Head | Chest/Stomach/Legs |
|---|---|---|
| 0–6.4m | 36 | 33 |
| 6.4–19.7m | 33 | 30 |
| 19.7–25.4m | 22 | 20 |
| 25.4m+ | 20 | 19 |
Within 6.4 meters, the Velox 5.7 deals 33 damage to the body — that's a 5-shot kill at 150 HP, which lines up with the 300ms TTK at 800 RPM. The second drop-off at 6.4–19.7m only reduces body damage to 30, keeping the kill time manageable. Past 19.7m, damage falls off hard to 20 per shot, pushing the TTK to 525ms and requiring 8 body shots. Keep your engagements inside 20 meters whenever possible.
Best Build (Akimbo)
This is the primary recommended build for aggressive play.

| Magazine | Draco Reserve Extended II |

The akimbo setup doubles your output and leans fully into the Velox 5.7's strengths: fire rate and close-range damage. The ivves Multi-Port Compensator and 4" Mfs Celeste Barrel help control the recoil spread that comes with hip-firing dual pistols. The Draco Reserve Extended II is essential — 15 rounds per pistol goes fast when you're firing at 800 RPM. The Vector Sync Laser tightens up hip-fire accuracy, which is your only aiming method in akimbo.
This build is designed for close-quarters engagements inside buildings, during rotations, or as a swap weapon after cracking plates with your primary.
Long Range Build
For players who want the Velox 5.7 as a more traditional secondary.
| Slot | Attachment |
|---|---|
| Muzzle | Monolithic Suppressor |
| Barrel | 7.8" Redwell T-Arrow Barrel |
| Magazine | Draco Reserve Extended II |
| Rear Grip | Quick Spine Grip |
| Fire Mods | Enhanced Cycle System |
Share Code: P02-D2LCI-B31
The Monolithic Suppressor keeps you off the minimap while helping with bullet velocity — important when base BV is only 380 m/s. The 7.8" Redwell T-Arrow Barrel extends effective range, and the Quick Spine Grip helps with handling. The Enhanced Cycle System pushes the fire rate advantage further. The Draco Reserve Extended II remains a must-pick regardless of build.
This setup tries to mitigate the Velox 5.7's biggest weakness — the steep damage drop-off past 19.7m — but keep expectations realistic. At 20+ damage per shot at range, this pistol still isn't a reliable long-range option. It's better suited as a sniper support secondary.
Rush Build (Akimbo)

|---|---|
| Muzzle | Greaves Multi-Port Compensator |
| Barrel | 4" Mfs Celeste Barrel |
| Magazine | Draco Reserve Extended II |
| Stock | Akimbo Velox 5.7 |
| Laser | Vector Sync Laser |
Nearly identical to the Best Build but swaps the ivves for the Greaves Multi-Port Compensator, which tends to prioritize slightly different recoil control properties. The overall philosophy is the same — akimbo, compensated recoil, extended mag, and a laser for hip-fire tightening. Use this as an alternative if you prefer the Greaves handling profile.

This build drops the barrel in favor of the Enhanced Cycle System in the Fire Mods slot. The tradeoff is less recoil control from the barrel but a faster cycle rate that pushes your effective RPM higher. Without the barrel, expect slightly wider spread, but the Enhanced Cycle System helps you dump rounds faster — which can be the difference in a close-range duel where both players are one-shot.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
- 170ms ADS speed — among the fastest in any weapon class
- 800 RPM fire rate enables a 300ms close-range TTK
- Akimbo option doubles firepower for CQB
Weaknesses:
- 380 m/s bullet velocity makes it unreliable past mid-range
- 15-round default magazine requires the extended mag in every build
- Damage drops from 33 to 20 per body shot past 19.7m — a 40% reduction
How It Compares
If you're weighing the Velox 5.7 against other pistol options, the .50 GS comparison is worth checking. The .50 GS trades fire rate for raw per-shot damage, making it a very different feel. The Velox 5.7's strength is volume — it kills through sustained hits rather than two-taps.

When to Run the Velox 5.7
The Velox 5.7 fits best as a close-range swap weapon or akimbo rush option alongside a longer-range primary like a marksman rifle or LMG. Its 300ms close TTK means it can outgun SMGs in tight spaces if you land your shots. The akimbo builds in particular are well-suited to building pushes and final circles where engagements happen inside 10 meters.
