Best FJX Imperium Loadout in Warzone (2 Builds)

March 23, 2026

The FJX Imperium one-shots to the head at every range and one-shots to the chest inside 50 meters, making it one of the more reliable bolt-action options in Warzone. Here are two builds that get the most out of it.

Best FJX Imperium Build (Long-Range)

This is the go-to setup for holding sightlines and maximizing bullet velocity.

| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Optic | SP-X 80 6.6x | | Muzzle | Monolithic Suppressor | | Barrel | Fahrenheit 29" | | Rear Grip | Skull-40 | | Ammunition | .408 High Velocity |

Why this works: The Monolithic Suppressor keeps you off the minimap while adding range, and the Fahrenheit 29" barrel further extends effective damage at distance. The .408 High Velocity rounds push the base 780 m/s bullet velocity higher, which reduces lead on moving targets at long range. The Skull-40 rear grip tightens up idle sway and flinch, making it easier to land headshots under return fire. The SP-X 80 6.6x gives you a clean zoom level for mid-to-long engagements without over-magnifying.

This build leans into the FJX Imperium's strengths as a passive, long-range sniper. The tradeoff is handling speed — ADS sits at a base 580ms before attachments, and this configuration doesn't do much to bring that down.

Rush Build (Aggressive Sniper)

For players who want to snipe on the move or pair the Imperium with a more aggressive rotation style.

| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Optic | Xten Intlas AS-7 | | Muzzle | VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor | | Barrel | Fahrenheit 29" | | Stock | FJX Kilo-Tac | | Ammunition | .408 High Velocity |

Why this works: The FJX Kilo-Tac stock improves ADS speed and sprint-to-fire time, which directly addresses the Imperium's sluggish base handling. The VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor still keeps you suppressed while being lighter than the Monolithic. The Xten Intlas AS-7 optic gives a slightly different sight picture some players prefer for faster target acquisition. You keep the Fahrenheit 29" and .408 High Velocity because even in an aggressive build, bullet velocity and range remain critical for a bolt-action — you need the first shot to count.

This build sacrifices some stability and idle sway control compared to the Best Build but gives you noticeably better mobility.

FJX Imperium Damage Profile

The Imperium's damage output is what makes it competitive. Here's the full breakdown at 150 HP (standard Warzone health):

| Range | Head | Chest | Stomach | Legs | |-------|------|-------|---------|------| | 0–50.3m | 295 | 250 | 155 | 144 | | 50.3–73.4m | 295 | 240 | 148 | 138 | | 73.4m+ | 295 | 234 | 144 | 134 |

Key takeaways:

  • Headshots are always a one-shot down — 295 damage at every range, nearly double the 150 HP threshold.
  • Chest shots one-shot inside 50.3 meters — 250 damage is well above 150 HP. Beyond that, chest damage drops to 240 and then 234, which still one-shots unplated enemies but won't break through full plates in a single hit at range.
  • Stomach and leg shots never one-shot at 150 HP. At best you deal 155 to the stomach up close, which means you need headshot or upper-chest accuracy to get value from this weapon.

The practical implication: if you're not confident in hitting head or chest consistently, the FJX Imperium's 44 RPM bolt rate means a missed kill shot costs you significant time before a follow-up.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths:

  • Instant kill potential (0ms TTK) on accurate headshots and close-range chest shots
  • 780 m/s base bullet velocity is solid for a bolt-action, and builds well with .408 High Velocity rounds
  • Reliable one-shot headshot at all ranges

Weaknesses:

  • 5-round default magazine limits your ability to engage multiple targets without reloading
  • 580ms base ADS makes it unforgiving if you need to snap onto targets
  • Stomach and leg shots don't one-shot, so body shot consistency is lower than some competing snipers
  • 44 RPM means missed shots or non-lethal hits leave long gaps before follow-up

How It Compares

The FJX Imperium currently sits in the Good tier on our meta tier list. For context among other sniper rifles:

  • The Hawker HX is rated Meta tier and is worth considering if you want the current top-tier option.
  • The HDR sits at Very Good, one tier above the Imperium.
  • The AMR Mod 4 shares the same Good tier — you can compare with AMR Mod 4 to see the stat differences side by side.

The Imperium's advantage is its damage profile consistency — that 295 headshot damage is extremely high, giving it margin against any potential health changes. Its main limitation relative to higher-tier snipers is the handling and magazine size.

Who Should Use the FJX Imperium?

This is a sniper for players who prioritize headshot accuracy and like holding angles. If your playstyle involves patient positioning and you trust your first-shot aim, the Imperium rewards that approach. If you tend to go for body shots or need to engage multiple enemies quickly, the 5-round magazine and bolt speed will hold you back.
