Warzone Fastest TTK Weapons — Full Ranking
Time-to-kill is the single most important number in Warzone. It tells you exactly how long your weapon needs to eliminate an opponent once the first bullet connects. We pulled live stats from our database and ranked every weapon from fastest to slowest.
The results split cleanly into two tiers: one-shot weapons that register a 0ms TTK on a close-range chest hit, and everything else. Here's the full breakdown.

The 0ms Club — One-Shot Weapons Explained
Thirteen weapons in Warzone can kill in a single chest-range hit, giving them a theoretical 0ms TTK. That number reflects the time between the first and last shot needed to down — when only one shot is required, it's instantaneous.
But not all 0ms weapons are created equal. The differentiator is what happens when you miss.
Why the Essex Model 07 Sits at #1
The Essex Model 07 deals 187 chest damage at close range — enough for a one-shot down — but fires at 740 RPM. That rate of fire is dramatically faster than any sniper rifle in the list. If you miss your first shot, your follow-up arrives in roughly 81ms. Compare that to the Kar98k at 57.1 RPM, where a missed shot means waiting over a full second for the next round.
This rechamber speed is the Essex's real advantage. It has the lethality of a sniper with the forgiveness of a semi-auto.

Kar98k — The Classic Pick
The Kar98k deals 180 chest damage and sits in the "Very Good" tier. Its 57.1 RPM is slow by marksman rifle standards, but it's still faster than most bolt-action snipers. At its core, the Kar98k is a precision weapon: hit the chest and the fight is over; miss and you're exposed. It rewards clean aim more than any other weapon in this ranking.
Tyr — A Pistol With Sniper TTK
The Tyr is the outlier. A pistol dealing 180 close-range chest damage with a 0ms TTK and 260.3 RPM, it can potentially serve as a secondary that one-shots at close range. Its follow-up rate sits between the Essex and the bolt-actions, making it a surprisingly capable option for players who want a one-shot secondary.
Sniper Rifle Breakdown
Eight sniper rifles land in the 0ms tier, but their profiles differ significantly:
- Highest chest damage: FJX Imperium and MCPR-300, both at 250 damage. These have the most forgiving damage profiles for hitting one-shot downs through partial armor or at range.
- Fastest rechamber among bolt-actions: SP-X 80 at 51 RPM, followed by XRK Stalker at 50 RPM.
- Highest tier rating: Hawker HX sits at "Meta" tier despite having the lowest chest damage among the one-shot snipers (165). Its 48 RPM and overall handling likely contribute to its higher tier placement.
- Fastest semi-auto sniper: The MORS fires at 200 RPM with 182 chest damage — a strong middle ground between one-shot potential and follow-up speed.
The XR-3 ION is the first sniper that doesn't one-shot. At 99 close-range chest damage and 1200 RPM, it plays more like a full-auto rifle, registering a 50ms TTK — still extremely fast and enough to earn a "Very Good" tier rating.

Very GoodFastest TTK by Weapon Type
If you want the quickest kill within each category, here are the leaders:
| Category | Weapon | TTK (ms) |
|---|---|---|
| Marksman Rifle | Essex Model 07 | 0 |
| Pistol | Tyr | 0 |
| Sniper Rifle | AMR Mod 4 | 0 |
| SMG | Nail Gun | 232 |
| Battle Rifle | FTAC Recon | 240 |
| Assault Rifle | Voyak KT-3 | 273 |
| LMG | SAKIN MG38 | 276 |
| Shotgun | Lockwood 300 | 702 |
The gap between one-shot weapons and the fastest full-auto is significant. The Nail Gun's 232ms TTK is excellent for an SMG, but it's still measurably slower than any weapon that can down in a single hit. The Voyak KT-3 leads assault rifles at 273ms, and the SAKIN MG38 is only 3ms behind at 276ms for LMGs.
Shotguns trail the field substantially — the Lockwood 300 at 702ms suggests multi-shot kill requirements at chest level without headshot multipliers.
What This Means for Your Loadout
The data points to a clear pattern: if you can land precision shots, one-shot marksman rifles and snipers offer an unmatched TTK advantage. The Essex Model 07 combines that one-shot capability with the fastest follow-up in its class, making it the statistically strongest option for players who prioritize raw kill speed.
For players who prefer full-auto consistency, the gap between 232ms (Nail Gun) and 276ms (SAKIN MG38) is tight enough that weapon handling, recoil, and magazine size likely matter more than the raw TTK difference.
