Warzone Meta Snapshot — March 2026
The current Warzone landscape is firmly shaped by assault rifles. Right now, our database tracks 7 weapons at Meta tier and 33 at Very Good, giving players a healthy spread of competitive options. That said, a few ARs are clearly separating themselves from the pack — and one in particular is posting TTK numbers that demand attention.
Let's break down what's performing, what to build, and where each weapon fits in the current meta. For the complete rankings, check the full tier list.
The Meta-Tier Standouts
Voyak KT-3 — The Fastest AR in the Game Right Now
The Voyak KT-3 currently sits at Meta tier with a close-range TTK of just 273ms. That's significantly faster than every other assault rifle in our top 10 — nearly 90ms quicker than the next-fastest competitor. If you're looking for raw killing speed in an AR frame, nothing else in this class comes close right now.
Best Long Range Build:
- Optic: Fang HoverPoint Elo
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: 17.6" Lti Grav-4 Barrel
- Magazine: SK-Garrison Drum
- Stock: V-Last Control Pad
This setup prioritizes range extension and recoil control while the drum mag ensures you have enough rounds to down multiple targets without reloading.

Peacekeeper MK1 — The Reliable Meta Pick
The Peacekeeper MK1 holds steady at Meta tier with a 420ms close-range TTK. While it doesn't match the Voyak's raw speed, it has long been a consistent pick for players who value a well-rounded profile. The 25" EAM Heavy Barrel in its top build suggests this weapon excels at holding longer sightlines.

Very Good Tier — The Competitive Core
Below Meta tier, there's a deep pool of Very Good assault rifles that can absolutely hold their own. Here's how they stack up by close-range TTK:
| Weapon | TTK (Close) | Type | |--------|------------|------| | X9 Maverick | 360ms | AR | | MK.78 | 368ms | LMG | | Maddox RFB | 415ms | AR | | AK-27 | 440ms | AR | | EGRT-17 | 444ms | AR | | AMES 85 | 480ms | AR | | DS20 Mirage | 480ms | AR | | M15 Mod 0 | 546ms | AR |
X9 Maverick — Closest to Meta
The X9 Maverick posts a 360ms close-range TTK, making it the fastest Very Good-tier AR and only 87ms behind the Voyak KT-3. Its build is also notably different from the crowd — it uses a Rear Grip (Pillory Grip) and Fire Mods (5.56 Caseless Overpressure) instead of the standard stock or underbarrel, which likely contributes to its aggressive TTK profile.
Maddox RFB — Strong All-Rounder
At 415ms, the Maddox RFB sits comfortably near the top of Very Good tier. Its long-range build runs the 19" Virtuous-Op Barrel — the longest barrel option among these top ARs — which tends to make it well-suited for holding power positions at distance.
AK-27 vs. EGRT-17 — The Mid-Tier Battle
The AK-27 and EGRT-17 are separated by just 4ms in close-range TTK (440ms vs. 444ms). Both run the Monolithic Suppressor and Fang HoverPoint Elo in their top builds, but they diverge in their fifth attachment slot: the AK-27 opts for the Pugil Heavy Stock while the EGRT-17 uses the Frigate Control Stock. In practice, the difference between these two is likely to come down to recoil feel and personal preference rather than raw stats.

Very GoodAMES 85 & DS20 Mirage — Tied at 480ms
The AMES 85 and DS20 Mirage share an identical 480ms close-range TTK, but their builds take different approaches. The AMES 85 runs a Compensator and Vertical Foregrip for recoil management, while the DS20 Mirage pairs a Monolithic Suppressor with an AI-C Control Grip. The AMES 85 build appears to lean harder into accuracy, while the DS20 Mirage prioritizes staying off the minimap.
MK.78 — The LMG Wildcard
The only non-AR in the top 10, the MK.78 LMG posts a 368ms close-range TTK — faster than most ARs on this list. Its long-range build includes the Bowen Sentry Foregrip and the same 25" EAM Heavy Barrel found on the Peacekeeper MK1. If you're comfortable with LMG handling, the MK.78 offers competitive TTK with the added benefit of a larger base magazine.
M15 Mod 0 — The Accuracy Play
The M15 Mod 0 has the slowest close-range TTK in this group at 546ms, but that number doesn't tell the full story. This weapon tends to perform better at range where its stability advantages likely offset the raw TTK gap. Its Bowen Bulwark Mag and Bowen Linchpin Stock combo suggests a build designed for sustained, controlled fire.
Build Trends in the Current Meta
A few clear patterns emerge across these top builds:
- Monolithic Suppressor appears on 8 of 10 weapons — sound suppression and range extension remain essential in Warzone
- Fang HoverPoint Elo is the optic of choice on 8 of 10 builds, making it the de facto standard sight
- Every single top build is a Long Range variant, confirming that mid-to-long engagements continue to define the Warzone meta
What to Run Right Now
If you want the statistical edge, the Voyak KT-3 is the clear frontrunner with its 273ms TTK. For a safer, more forgiving option at Meta tier, the Peacekeeper MK1 delivers consistent performance. And if you're looking for a sleeper pick, the X9 Maverick at 360ms in Very Good tier is punching well above its weight.
