The Kogot-7 is a Very Good tier SMG that kills in 252ms up close and snaps to ADS in 170ms — here are the three builds you need to run it effectively in Warzone.

Why the Kogot-7?
At 952 RPM with a 540 m/s bullet velocity, the Kogot-7 hits harder and faster than most SMGs at close range. Its 252ms close-range TTK is competitive with the top of the SMG class, and the 170ms ADS time lets you win snap fights consistently. The trade-off is 43 units of vertical recoil, which means every build below prioritizes recoil control in some form.

Damage Profile Breakdown
Understanding where the Kogot-7's damage drops off is key to picking the right build:
| Range | Head | Chest | Stomach | Legs | |-------|------|-------|---------|------| | 0–12.5m | 36 | 33 | 29 | 29 | | 12.5–21m | 31 | 28 | 25 | 25 | | 21m+ | 24 | 22 | 19 | 19 |
Inside 12.5 meters, chest shots deal 33 damage — enough for a 252ms TTK. Beyond 21 meters the damage falls to 22 per chest hit, pushing the TTK out to 378ms. That second drop-off is steep, so extending effective range through attachments matters more here than on most SMGs.
Build 1: Best Overall Build
Share Code: S10-5Q9BU-31
This is the default aggressive loadout — maximizes the Kogot-7's strengths in close-quarters while keeping recoil manageable.
| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Muzzle | Hawker Series 45 | | Barrel | 13.5" Canis-05 Barrel | | Magazine | Vex Expanse Mag | | Stock | F7-Howl Stock | | Fire Mods | Buffer Spring |
Why this works: The Hawker Series 45 muzzle and 13.5" Canis-05 barrel both help tame that 43-unit vertical recoil, while the F7-Howl Stock keeps your strafe speed up for gunfights. The Buffer Spring in the Fire Mods slot complements the already-high 952 RPM fire rate. The Vex Expanse Mag gives you the extra rounds needed for squad wipes without needing to reload mid-fight.
This is the build to run if you're pushing buildings, clearing POIs, or playing as the entry fragger.
Build 2: Long Range
Share Code: S10-68XWS-HP311
Designed to push the Kogot-7's effectiveness past that 12.5m first damage drop-off and keep it viable into mid-range.
| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Muzzle | Hawker Ported Comp | | Barrel | 8.5" Targil Hock-XR Barrel | | Magazine | Vex Expanse Mag | | Stock | Cinder Stock | | Laser | 1mW Adaptive Tactical Laser |
Why this works: The Hawker Ported Comp paired with the 8.5" Targil Hock-XR Barrel focuses on recoil stabilization and bullet velocity, helping you land shots consistently in that 12.5–21m band where chest damage drops to 28. The Cinder Stock adds stability for sustained fire, and the 1mW Adaptive Tactical Laser tightens your hipfire and ADS performance without giving away your position.
Run this build when pairing the Kogot-7 with a sniper or single-shot marksman rifle and you need more mid-range coverage from your secondary.
Build 3: Support
Share Code: S10-DBNYV-3SAN1
A more controlled, optic-equipped build for players who prefer clear sight pictures and slightly more forgiving engagements.
| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Optic | Fang HoverPoint Elo | | Muzzle | Hawker Series 45 | | Barrel | 13.5" Canis-05 Barrel | | Magazine | Vex Expanse Mag | | Stock | EMT3 Radix Stock |
Why this works: The Fang HoverPoint Elo gives a clean sight picture that helps with target acquisition at range — useful given the Kogot-7's high recoil. The Hawker Series 45 and 13.5" Canis-05 barrel return from the Best Build to handle vertical recoil, and the EMT3 Radix Stock adds stability for holding angles or covering teammates. You trade the Buffer Spring's fire rate boost for the optic, which makes this build slightly slower to kill but noticeably easier to control.
This setup fits a support role — holding flanks, covering teammates during rotations, or cleaning up fights from a few extra meters back.
How It Compares
The Kogot-7 sits in the Very Good tier alongside the C9 and Carbon 57. It edges out Good tier options like the AMR9 and BAS-P primarily through its faster TTK and higher bullet velocity.
AMR9
GoodKOGOT-7
Very GoodIf you're deciding between the Kogot-7 and the AMR9, you can compare them directly. The Kogot-7's higher RPM and faster TTK make it the stronger pick for close-range aggression, though the AMR9 tends to be more forgiving at range due to lower recoil.

Quick Tips
- Aim for the chest inside 12.5m. At 33 damage per chest hit, the 252ms TTK only holds if you're landing upper-body shots. Stomach and leg shots at 29 damage will cost you extra bullets.
- Don't challenge past 21m. The damage drops to 22 per chest hit — you're losing gunfights to ARs and even some LMGs at that range. Reposition instead.
- The Vex Expanse Mag is non-negotiable. The base 30-round magazine runs dry fast at 952 RPM. Every build above includes it for a reason.
- Recoil control is the one thing to optimize. The 43-unit vertical recoil is the Kogot-7's only real weakness. Every muzzle and barrel choice in these builds addresses it.
