The Carbon 57 is a high-RPM submachine gun that kills in 280ms up close and snaps to ADS in 175ms. Here are three builds to get the most out of it in Warzone.

Why the Carbon 57?
Sitting in the Very Good tier on our meta tier list, the Carbon 57 brings a strong combination of stats for an aggressive SMG:
- 280ms close-range TTK — competitive with the fastest SMGs in Warzone
- 175ms ADS speed — snappy enough for reaction gunfights
- 857 RPM fire rate — forgiving if you miss a shot or two
- 40-round default magazine — no need to waste an attachment slot on extended mags
- 550m/s bullet velocity — unusually high for an SMG, making mid-range engagements viable
The one notable weakness is high vertical recoil (46), which means most builds need at least one recoil-control attachment to stay consistent past 13 meters.
Damage Profile
Here's how the Carbon 57's damage breaks down across its three range bands:
| Range | Head | Chest | Stomach | Legs | |-------|------|-------|---------|------| | 0–13m | 42 | 35 | 31 | 31 | | 13–23m | 37 | 31 | 27 | 27 | | 23m+ | 28 | 24 | 21 | 21 |
The first damage drop-off at 13m cuts your TTK from 280ms to roughly 420ms, so keeping fights inside that first range bracket is where this weapon excels. That said, the 550m/s bullet velocity helps you stay competitive in that awkward 13–23m gap where most SMGs start to struggle.
Build 1: Best Overall
This is the all-purpose build that tames the vertical recoil while preserving the Carbon 57's speed.
| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Muzzle | KES Compensator | | Barrel | 14" Rockleigh Barrel | | Underbarrel | Sapper Guard Handstop | | Rear Grip | Bombus Quick Grip | | Fire Mods | Accelerated Recoil System |
Share Code: S05-6U1FG-HU51
The KES Compensator and Accelerated Recoil System directly address the Carbon 57's vertical recoil problem. The 14" Rockleigh Barrel extends the effective range slightly, while the Sapper Guard Handstop and Bombus Quick Grip keep handling tight. This build is designed for entry fraggers and aggressive rotators who want to win fights inside 15 meters consistently.
Build 2: Long Range
Stretches the Carbon 57 into mid-range territory, useful when you're running it as a secondary or in Resurgence maps with longer sightlines.
| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Muzzle | Kuhn Ported Comp | | Underbarrel | Quickstep Foregrip | | Magazine | Bowen Sideline Extended | | Stock | Oberon Tactical Pad | | Laser | Redwell Tactical Laser |
Share Code: S05-3R5VB-5WL11
The Kuhn Ported Comp and Quickstep Foregrip stack recoil control to keep shots on target past 20 meters. The Oberon Tactical Pad improves stability while aiming, and the Redwell Tactical Laser tightens your aim-down-sight accuracy. The Bowen Sideline Extended magazine gives you extra rounds for sustained fights at range where you'll need more bullets per kill due to the damage drop-off.
This build trades some of the snappy close-range handling for consistency at distance. If you're pairing the Carbon 57 with a shotgun or find yourself in longer corridors, this is the variant to use.
Build 3: Support
A hybrid setup that balances stability and mobility for team-oriented play.
| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Muzzle | Kuhn Ported Comp | | Barrel | 8.6" Orbital Light Barrel | | Magazine | Bowen Sideline Extended | | Stock | Oberon Tactical Pad | | Laser | EAM ScatterLine Laser |
Share Code: S05-68XZX-9QY11
The 8.6" Orbital Light Barrel keeps you mobile while the Kuhn Ported Comp handles recoil. The Bowen Sideline Extended magazine combined with the 857 RPM fire rate gives you enough ammo to engage multiple enemies without reloading. The Oberon Tactical Pad and EAM ScatterLine Laser round out the build with stability and hipfire improvements — useful when you're the second player into a building and need to clean up wounded targets quickly.
How It Compares
The Carbon 57 sits alongside the C9 and Dravec 45 in our Very Good tier, a step above competitors like the AMR9 and BAS-P, which both land in the Good tier. Where the Carbon 57 separates itself is in bullet velocity (550m/s) and its 40-round default magazine — you don't have to sacrifice an attachment slot for mag size, which gives you more room for recoil and handling attachments.

When to Use It
The Carbon 57 fits an aggressive, close-to-mid range playstyle. Its 280ms TTK and 175ms ADS make it effective for pushing buildings, taking early gunfights off rotations, and winning CQB trades. The high bullet velocity for an SMG means you won't feel punished when enemies are at that 15–20m range where some SMGs start to whiff.
Pair it with a long-range AR or sniper to cover your distance gaps. In Resurgence modes, the Best Overall build is likely all you need. For Al Mazrah or larger maps, consider the Long Range variant.
