The MK35 ISR is a new Black Ops 7 assault rifle that's now available in the Warzone weapon pool. With 750 RPM and a solid bullet velocity of 650 m/s, it holds its own at mid range — though like most new weapons it needs the right attachments to compete against established meta picks.

Warzone's armour system means you're chewing through more HP than in core multiplayer. The MK35 ISR is best used as a mid-range primary — pair it with an SMG for close quarters and let the AR handle anything from ~20m out.
Best MK35 ISR Loadout — Long Range
The primary recommended Warzone build. Maximises bullet velocity and effective range to give the MK35 ISR the reach it needs in open Warzone environments.
| Slot | Attachment |
|---|---|
| Optic | Fang HoverPoint Elo |
| Muzzle | Monolithic Suppressor |
| Barrel | 16.5" Greaves Bellum Barrel |
| Underbarrel | Vas Convergence Foregrip |
| Magazine | Bowen Siren Drum |
Why this works: In Warzone you're frequently shooting across longer distances than in core modes, so the Monolithic Suppressor and 16.5" Greaves Bellum Barrel are essential — they extend the effective range and keep bullets arriving on target at longer distances. The foregrip is non-negotiable to keep the gun on target during sustained full-auto fire.
Best MK35 ISR Loadout — Rush / FMJ Build
If you're playing a more aggressive Warzone style or want to punish enemies behind thin cover, swap the underbarrel for FMJ ammunition.
| Slot | Attachment |
|---|---|
| Optic | Fang HoverPoint Elo |
| Muzzle | Monolithic Suppressor |
| Barrel | 16.5" Greaves Bellum Barrel |
| Magazine | Bowen Siren Drum |
| Ammunition | 5.56 Nato FMJ |
FMJ rounds penetrate surfaces and deal increased damage through cover — useful when enemies are holding behind thin walls or vehicle panels. The extended magazine from the Bowen Siren Drum offsets the longer TTK in Warzone's armour system.
How Does It Compare in Warzone?
The MK35 ISR is a solid secondary AR option. It's not yet at the level of the longest-standing Warzone meta picks, but it's competitive enough to use and excels if you prefer a faster fire rate AR over the slower, harder-hitting options. Worth trying if you play a lot of BO7 and want to carry your muscle memory into Warzone.
