Best Dresden 9mm Loadout

| Slot | Attachment | |------|------------| | Muzzle | Compensator | | Barrel | Long Barrel | | Magazine | Extended Mag II | | Rear Grip | Ergonomic Grip | | Stock | NO Stock |

This build prioritizes recoil control and magazine capacity — the two areas where the Dresden 9mm needs the most help. The Compensator and Ergonomic Grip work together to pull down the weapon's 58.5 units of vertical recoil, which is high for the SMG class. The Long Barrel extends the effective damage range, and the NO Stock keeps mobility sharp for an aggressive playstyle. Extended Mag II bumps the base 32-round magazine up so you can handle multiple engagements without reloading.

Dresden 9mm Stats Breakdown

  • Fire Rate: 536 RPM
  • ADS Speed: 200ms
  • Bullet Velocity: 700 m/s
  • Close-Range TTK: 336ms
  • Long-Range TTK: 448ms
  • Base Magazine: 32 rounds
  • Vertical Recoil: 58.5
  • Tier: Very Good

The 336ms close-range TTK is competitive but not elite — you're not going to out-duel the fastest-killing SMGs in a pure reaction-time fight. Where the Dresden 9mm separates itself is bullet velocity. At 700 m/s, it has significantly higher BV than most SMGs, which means your shots connect with almost no lead correction needed at mid-range. For an SMG that you want to stretch into that 15–20m sweet spot, that matters.

Damage Profile

The Dresden 9mm has three distinct damage ranges:

| Range | Head | Chest | Stomach | Legs | |-------|------|-------|---------|------| | 0–11.2m | 58 | 47 | 45 | 45 | | 11.2–18.6m | 48 | 39 | 37 | 37 | | 18.6m+ | 42 | 34 | 32 | 32 |

Up close, 47 damage to the chest at 536 RPM gets you that 336ms kill time. Past 11.2 meters the damage drops to 39 chest, pushing the TTK out to 448ms. The high per-shot damage means headshots are rewarding — a 58-damage headshot up close can shave a full bullet off the kill requirement in some HP scenarios. But you need to be hitting those shots, and that's where the recoil becomes the limiting factor.

Why This Build Works

The Dresden's main weakness is its 58.5 units of vertical recoil. Without attachments to mitigate it, the gun kicks hard enough that sustained fire past 12–15 meters becomes inconsistent. The Compensator and Ergonomic Grip directly address this, keeping the reticle on target through a full kill's worth of shots.

The Long Barrel pushes the first damage dropoff further out, which is particularly valuable given the weapon's high bullet velocity. You're building an SMG that can comfortably fight at ranges where other SMGs start to struggle with both damage and bullet travel time.

The NO Stock preserves sprint-to-fire and movement speed so you can still play aggressively. This gun isn't meant for holding angles — it's meant for pushing into buildings, clearing rooms, and taking mid-range fights where other SMGs would need to lead their shots.

How It Compares

The Dresden 9mm sits in the Very Good tier on our meta tier list, alongside the C9 and Carbon 57. It outranks the AMR9 and BAS-P, both of which sit in Good tier.

If you're deciding between the Dresden and the AMR9, the Dresden's bullet velocity advantage is significant. You can compare with AMR9 directly to see the full stat-by-stat differences.

Who Should Use This Gun

The Dresden 9mm tends to perform best for players who favor an aggressive close-to-mid range playstyle but want more consistency at the outer edge of SMG range. The high bullet velocity at 700 m/s makes it forgiving when snapping onto targets at distance, and the damage profile rewards accuracy — especially headshots.

If you struggle with recoil control, this may not be the pick. Even with the Compensator and Ergonomic Grip, 58.5 vertical recoil is noticeable. Players who can manage a consistent pull-down pattern will get the most out of this weapon.
